Jennifer A Smith-Evans

Jennifer Anne Smith-Evans, 45, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at her home in Peoria Heights, IL.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. Msgr. Philip Halfacre will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator. Cremation rites have been accorded with Solon-Telford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Born August 28, 1975 in Streator, she was the daughter of George and Sheila (Brown) Smith.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica and Jasmine Evans of Spring Town, Texas; her father, George Smith Jr. of Streator; a brother, Patrick (Karen) Smith of Streator; maternal grandfather, James Brown of Grand Ridge and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sheila Rawlins; her twin sister, Heather Smith-Condon; paternal grandparents, George and Marguerite Smith, Sr. and her maternal grandmother, Dolores Brown.

Born and raised in Streator she attended Streator Schools and Streator High School. She graduated from Streator High School in 1994 and attended the nursing program at Illinois Valley Community College. She was the primary caregiver for her daughter. She loved her children very much.
