Joanne Tyler, 87, of Streator passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at her residence in Streator.

  Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday December 23rd at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. 

  Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Friday December 23rd at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator.  Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.

  Born April 16, 1935 in Streator she was the daughter of Milo James and Eleanor Moore. 

  She is survived by a son, Frank Tyler of Streator; a daughter in law, Mary Tyler of Streator; grandchildren, Michelle Tyler of Peoria, Frank Tyler IIII of California, Brian Tyler of Atlanta, Georgia, Stephen Tyler of Streator, Lacey Tyler of Oswego, Antonio Tyler of Bloomington and Rachel Ross of St. Charles; many great and great-great grandchildren also survive.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended Streator grade schools and Streator High School. 

  She worked through the years as a caretaker for the elderly and she also worked at different motels as a housekeeper.

  She was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church.

  Joanne enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling around to follow her grandchildren’s different activities and sporting events.  She will be great missed by her loving family.
