Joshua Melrose Obituary

Joshua L. Melrose, 48, of Streator passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Morris Hospital after a long illness.

There will be no services. Private family burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery, Streator. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born August 4, 1977 in Streator he is survived by his parents, Joanne and Mike Maltas of Streator; a sister, Sara Melrose of Streator; nieces, Brynlee and Kendell; and a nephew, Zander.

Born and raised in Streator, he graduated from Streator High School.

He worked through the years for Vactor Manufacturing.

He was of the Catholic faith.
