Joyce A. Natt

  Joyce A. Natt 75 of Streator passed away Friday afternoon (September 6, 2024) at the ARC at Streator.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday (September 11, 2024) at Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.  Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 AM Wednesday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home. Graveside services will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator.

 Mrs. Natt was born May 11, 1949 in Streator to Charles and Elsie (Wahl) Shepard. She married John Natt, 52 years ago at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Streator.  He survives in Streator.

 Joyce attended local grade schools and Streator High School. She worked at local retail stores and glass factories retiring some years ago from Exact Packaging, Pontiac. Joyce loved woodworking, home improvement, vintage and classic cars and was a dog lover. She was a good storyteller and liked to joke around. Her family and friends were very special to her, especially the little ones. She was a joyful person and all will miss her smile.

 She is survived by her husband, John Natt of Streator; three sisters, Donna Lowe, Ottawa and Doris Shepard, Streator and Karen Baker, Tonica, three sisters-in-law, Marilyn Shepard, Streator, Irene (Gary) Russow, Ancona, Margie (Bill) Vercimak, New Lenox, Margaret Natt, Streator, brothers-in-law, Tony (Denise) Natt, Streator. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Nancy Otto and Judy Fialko, brothers, Walter “Bud”, Marvin, Marshall, Richard “Dick” and Gary “Duke” Shepard, sisters-in-law, JoAnn Shepard. Karen Shepard, Jamie Shepard and Mary Jean Dudak, brothers-in-law Stephen Natt, William Vercimak, Ed Dudak, Wayne Lowe, Dale Otto, Bob Fialko and Roger Baker.

 Family members will serve as pallbearers.

 Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
