Judith A. DeLong, 80, of Streator passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Flanagan Rehabilitation in Flanagan, Illinois.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Born April 24, 1943 in Streator she was the daughter of Jerry and Helen (Brown) Holt. She married Alvin R. DeLong on July 17, 1961. He preceded her in death on August 12, 2023.
She is survived by sons, Todd DeLong of Streator and Matt (Kristin) DeLong of Pontiac; a daughter in law, Stephanie DeLong of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tessa (Sam) Mackinson of Pontiac, Stephanie DeLong, Jr. of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Kalee (Jamie) Adams of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Kyle (Sydney) DeLong of Dwight and Alvin DeLong of Pontiac; 4 great grandchildren and one on way; a sister, Julie (Carl) Jensen of Alexandria, Virginia and a brother, Jim (Linda McCulloch) Holt of Batavia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sons, Eric DeLong and Kevin DeLong; a grandson, Keegan DeLong.
Born and raised in Streator she attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator High School.
Dedicated to her family she spent her younger years raising her sons. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed nothing more than spoiling her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
