Judith A. Kawiecki, 75, of Streator passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at the ARC of Streator.

  Cremation rites will be accorded.  There will be no public funeral services.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born January 9, 1950 in Streator, she was the daughter of John and Della (Alberts) Pouk.  She married Larry C. Kawiecki on May 3, 1969.  He preceded her in death on December 13, 2021.

  She is survived by daughters, Suzanne (Scott) Sirianni of Streator and Hollie Kawiecki of Streator; a son, Lawrence (Belinda) Kawiecki of Utica; and grandchildren, Autumn, Ashley and Abigail Kawiecki; Parker and Camron Sirianni; Brenden Christensen and Rileigh Zavada.

  She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving brother, John Pouk.

  Through the years she belonged to St. Stephen’s Church, St.  Anthony Church and currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Parish.  She was a life member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.

  Judy was a licensed Beautician and Cosmetologist. She operated her own beauty salon, Precision Plus Studio, for many years.   She also taught at the Streator School of Beauty from 1976-1992.  She enjoyed her profession very much.

  Judy was a simple lady who loved being at home with her family.  She loved her husband, children and especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed celebrating the holidays, birthdays and spending time working in her yard.  She especially loved the Fall time of the year and Halloween.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her family.
