Karen S. Nimrick

Karen S. Nimrick, 61, of Sutter, California and formerly of Streator passed away at 10:00 P.M. Saturday, February 1, 2020 in Sacramento, California after a lengthy illness.

Private family funeral services were held in California.

Born June 26, 1958 in Streator she was the daughter of Alvin and Shirley (Kettman) Rieck. She married Mark Nimrick on February 14, 1995. He survives in Sutter, California.

She is also survived by a son, Dustin Roach of Sutter, California; brothers, Dale Rieck of Streator and David (Victoria) Rieck of Bloomington; sisters, Debra (Jeff) Kling of Streator and Linda (Daniel) Gallick of Streator; a step-son, Ted (Erica) Buchmiller of Sacramento, California; and grandchildren, Savannah and Raymond Roach.

She was preceded in death by her parents;

She attended Woodland High School and lived in Streator for many years until moving to California.

Karen enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a blessing to all of us and she will be missed. She is now on her journey home.
