Karen L. Schinzel

  Karen L. Schinzel, 80, of Streator passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at O.S.F. St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington with her family by her side.

  Private family burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator.  There will be no funeral services.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born September 27, 1943 in Streator she was the daughter of Denver and Margaret (Tibbles) Schuler. 

  She is survived by her son, Jeffery (Krista) Schinzel of Ottawa; and nephews, Tim and Scott Schuler both of Florida.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ellis Schuler; a brother and a sister in infancy; and a nephew, Edward Schuler.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator High School.

  She worked various jobs through the years retiring in 2018.

  She was of the Catholic faith.
