Linda L. Alltop, 59, of Pontiac passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at the ARC of Streator.
Public graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Rooks Creek Cemetery in rural Pontiac. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Born August 13, 1966 in Peoria she was the daughter of Jerry and Florence (Hayes) Robertson. She married David D. Alltop on October 15, 2022 in Meadows.
She is survived by her husband, David Alltop of Pontiac; sons, Erik (Chayla) Mitchey of Marryville, Tennessee, Matthew (Alysen) Mitchey of Mansfield and Joshua (Adriana) Mitchey of Pontiac; a daughter, Kaitlyn (Aaron) Browning of Anchor; 12 grandchildren and 1 grandchild on the way; a brother, Gary (Kim) Robertson of Streator; sisters, Adonna Luna of Streator; Liana Carrion of Cincinnati, Ohio and Fawn Centko of Streator; her very best friend, Becky Schmillen; her friend and caretaker, Bridget Marcin; brother in law, Richard (Laura) Alltop of Pontiac; sister in law, Jan (Steve) Westfall of Heyworth; her fur babies, Faith and Hope; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronald, Dennis, Randy and Jeffrey Robertson; and Paul Collins; and a sister, Debbie Robertson.
Raised in the El Paso area she attended local schools. She later graduated from Hairmasters Institute of Cosmetology in Bloomington.
She worked through the years as a hairdresser.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Linda loved spending time with her family and friends over everything else. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all the nurses and caretakers at the ARC of Streator and the 5900th floor at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
