Linda C. Cole

  Linda Cole, 74, of Streator passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026 at her residence in Streator.

  Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Friday, April 24th at the Central Church of Christ in Streator.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 A.M. at the Central Church of Christ in Streator.  Her nephew Rev. Adam Johnson will officiate.

  Born September 1, 1951 in LaSalle she was the daughter of Gilbert and Joan (Green) Fellet.  She married Charles “Chuck” Cole on August 4, 1969.

  She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Cole of Manville; sons, Shane Cole of Morris and Joe Cole of LaSalle; grandchildren, Courtney (Matt) Skinner of Morris, Taylor (Jake) Walker of Tennessee, Isabel Ensign of Washington, Riley Cole of Pontiac and Jozie Cole of Streator; great grandchildren, Charlie and Maxton Skinner and one great grandchild on the way; a sister, Cindy (Michael) Cray of Spring Hill, Florida; many nieces and nephews also survive.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Brandi Ensign; and a brother, Mark Lapp.

  Linda attended Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1969.

  She worked through the years for Owens Illinois Glass Company, Thatcher’s Glass and later for St. Mary’s Hospital until her retirement.

  She attended Central Church of Christ.

  Linda was a fun-loving person who loved her family very much and always had a smile.  She loved sunsets, beaches, slot machines, playing cards and enjoying an ice-cold Corona.  She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
