Linda K. Cooper, 81, of Streator passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Accolade Healthcare in Pontiac.
There will be no funeral services. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Born April 26, 1942 in Pontiac she was the daughter of William and Marie (Koopman) Onken. She married Wiliam C. Cooper. He preceded her in death in 1986.
She is survived by daughters, Angela (Andy) Danko of Streator and Victoria (Corey) Gamble of Miles, Iowa; a son, Anthony (Geri) Cooper of Streator; grandchildren, Caitlyn White of Streator, Ken Willers of Davenport, Iowa, Daniel (Tana) Danko of Streator, Bryan (Becca White) Cooper of Washington, Connor Willers of Davenport, Iowa and Miami (Hunter Perhach) Danko of Streator, Dakotah Menard of Streator, Sheyann Menard of Streator and Phoenix Cooper of Streator; great grandchildren, Wyatt Marshall, Melody Cooper, Willow Perhach, Bradlee Danko, Lyla Danko and Malakhi Menard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Kathy Erickson and brothers, Ronald and Alvin Onken.
Born in Pontiac she was raised in the Flanagan area. She attended Flanagan Grade School and High School.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She worked through the years for the Pontiac Prison and also as a telemarketer for Market USA for several years.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, coloring and she especially loved cats. She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
