Logan M. Crank, 26, of Streator passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at O.S.F. Center for Health – Streator.
A Celebration of Logan’s life will be held at the Silver Fox/Club 122 on Thursday, September 21st from 5:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M.
Born December 20, 1996 in Ottawa he was the son of Harold and Melissa (Calkins) Crank.
He is survived by his parents, Harold “Bucky” Crank, Jr. and Melissa Crank of Streator; a daughter, Kaibrey Crank; a son, Kaison Crank; a sister, Caitlin (William Veach) Jones of Ottawa; a brother, Payton Crank; a niece, Aubree Goralczyk; a nephew, Zayden Boyer; maternal grandfather, Tom Calkins, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Margene Crank; aunts and uncles, Julie (Mario) Cuevas, Justin Calkins, Cody (Hope) Calkins, Chris (Wendy) Calkins, Tom (Tony) Calkins, Jr. and Jodi Crank; cousins, Michelle Lenac, Alexander Calkins, Hunter “Willow” Faux, Emett Calkins, Miley Siebert, Emma Calkins, Camden Calkins, and Parker Calkins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Tere Calkins and his paternal grandfather, Harold Crank, Sr.
Logan attended school in Henry and Streator.
He worked for Caterpiller until 2018 when he was diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis Cancer. Logan fought hard the last few years with this rare cancer.
He was a proud father to his two beautiful children, Kaibrey and Kaison. He loved spending time with them, especially taking them to the splash pad and the park.
He also loved fishing, BMX biking, playing pool and video games. He will be dearly missed by his loving family.
