Obituary

  Marcella A. “Sally” Patton, 81, of Streator passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at O.S.F. St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

  Private burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born March 30, 1942 in Streator she was the daughter of Clifford and Lucille (Gall) Rinkenberger.  She married Daniel Hart on August 4, 1960.  He preceded her in death on November 13, 1983.  She later married Craig Patton on August 15, 1990.  He preceded her in death on December 25, 2009.

  She is survived by daughters, Alicia (Andrew) Camacho of Ottawa, Kelly (Robert Bute) Koppen of Arizona, Tammy (Daniel Holocker) Hart of Streator and Julie Hart of Marseilles; sons, Jamie (Becky) Hart of Streator, Daniel (Kim) Hart of Streator and Kevin (Sylvia Dominguez) Hart of Arizona; 7 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 5 step-great grandchildren.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; a son, Scott Hart in infancy; a brother, Richard Rinkenberger and a sister, Sandra Carbone.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and Streator High School.

  She worked for John and Joe’s Florist for over 32 years. 

  She was a member of the former St. Stephen’s Church. 

  Sally was an avid bowler through the years and played in many different leagues at Bowl Mor Lanes.  She was also a big Chicago Bears fan.
