Mark S. Dodge

Mark S. Dodge, 63, of Streator died Thursday evening (July12, 2018) at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Friday at Solon-Telford Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 PM Friday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home,

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Mr. Dodge was born November 7, 1954 in Streator the son of Clyde Eugene and Louise (Hrasch) Dodge. He married Linda Klachko December 28, 1973 at St. Stephen’s Church, Streator. She survives.

Mark owned and operated Marks’ Transmission Repair and Rebuilding, Streator. He was a member of the former Streator Flying Club. He attended Streator schools and was a graduate of Streator High School.

He is survived by his wife Linda Dodge of Streator; his mother, Louise Dodge of Manville, daughter, Nicole (Adam) Holt of Streator, twins, Danielle (David) Schlosser of Foristell Missouri and Jerritt (Elizabeth) Dodge of Streator; grandchildren, Amelia and Emma Schlosser and Cole Dodge; a sister, Michelle Schulz of Warrensburg Missouri and her twin brother, Mike (Cindy) Dodge of Hudson; a brother Jessie (Cathy) Dodge of Ancona.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Mark loved his commercial free Turner Classic Movie channel, a good strong cup of coffee, being outdoors, spending time with his grandbabies and always leaving a job well done. He was a simple man who kept you on your toes. He will be greatly missed.
