Mark T. Kusnerik

Mark T. Kusnerik, 64, of Lincoln and formerly of Streator passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Kindred Hospital in Peoria.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Funeral services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born October 7, 1956 in Streator he was the son of Ervin and Shirley (Burt) Kusnerik.

He is survived by a son, Michael (Danielle Byrd) Kusnerik of Lincoln; grandchildren, Dayhlon and Jaydon Kusnerik; and Blayke Ingram all of Lincoln; brothers, Paul Kusnerik of Arizona and Kevin (Donna) Kusnerik of Streator; a niece, Hannah Washko of Streator; the mother of his grandchildren, Jennifer Clark of Lincoln; he was also survived by his beloved dog, Sadie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Born and raised in Streator he attended St. Stephen’s Grade School and graduated from Woodland High School.

Mark was primarily a truck driver through the years working for US Foods, Brandt Trucking and last working for Estes Trucking. He also had previously worked for Star Ford Lincoln Mercury in Streator.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Mark was an avid bowler and bowled in several different leagues through the years. He also enjoyed fishing especially with his fishing buddies, Bo, Frankie and Eddie. They enjoyed fishing trips to Lake Bloomington and Wisconsin. He truly enjoyed attending his grandsons sporting events. He never missed a game.
