Mark R. Reinmann, 71, of Streator passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at his residence in Streator.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, April 20th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. Rev. Aaron DeWitt will officiate. Full military honors will be accorded by members of the Leslie G. Woods American Legion Post 217 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1492
Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Tuesday, April 20th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
Born May 14, 1949 in Streator he was the son of Edwin and Doris (Turner) Reinmann. He married Karen M. Chismarick on December 21, 1968. She preceded him in death on September 13, 2018.
He is survived by a son, Jan-Michael (Heather) Reinmann of Streator; grandchildren, Alexis Coplin of Streator, Jake Mounce of Streator, Michael Reinmann of Streator and Kaylee Sroka of Streator; and brothers, Roger (Joyce) Reinmann of Normal, Gary (Nancy) Reinmann of Bradenton, Florida and Ron (Gloria) Reinmann of Lake Wales, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Julie Mounce.
Born and raised in Streator he attended Woodland Grade School and High School. He also attended Western Illinois University.
He served in the United States Army as a Military Policeman during the Viet Nam War.
He worked at Libbey-Owens Ford from 1976-1982 and later worked for Plymouth Tube until his retirement in 2005. He also owned and operated Mr. John’s Dry-cleaning, along with his wife Karen, for many years.
