Marsha D. Watson

  Marsha D. Watson, 82, of Streator passed away Friday, June 5, 2026 at a private care home she was staying at in Streator.

  Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 10th.  Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Streator.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born February 12, 1944 in Streator she was the daughter of Emmanuel and Dorothy (Niehaus) Hart.  She married Donald E. Watson on February 11, 1999.

  She is survived by her husband, Donald Watson of Streator; a son, Rodney (Sue) Leonard of Streator; granddaughter, Jackie (Justin Crow) Leonard of Meadows; a great grandson, Jason Rodney Crow of Meadows; a sister, Jeanette Tallent of Manville, Karen (Mike) Lucky of Streator and Nancy (James) Baine of Manville; nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gene " Buddy" Hart; sister-in-law Pam Hart; brothers-in-law Frances Tallent and Dave Leonard; and a daughter in law, Lori Leonard.

  Born and raised in Streator she graduated from Woodland High School.

  Through the years she worked for Lipton Tea, Motorola in Pontiac and later worked for Flying Color Graphics for 20 years until her retirement.

  Through the years Marsha enjoyed bowling, golfing, running and bicycling.  She was a member of the Streator Women's Bowling Hall of Fame and the Streator Golf Association Hall of Fame.  She and her husband Don were former members of the Streator Country Club.
