Martha G. “Martie” Casey, 77, of Streator passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the ARC of Streator.

  A visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 10th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator followed by a brief graveside service in Wolf Creek Cemetery in rural Streator.  Cremation rites have been accorded.

  Born October 4, 1947 in Streator she was the daughter of William and Phyllis (Chrest) Linn. 

  She is survived by a daughter, Laura (Bradley) Brooks of Arenzville, Illinois; a son, Michael (Emily) Linn of Cornell; grandchildren, Corrie, Riley, Bradeyn, Keppin, Sailym, Presleigh, William and Lincoln; and great grandchildren, Henry Robert and Jesse William.

  She was preceded in death by her parents.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended Garfield Grade School and graduated from Streator High School.

  She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at St. Mary’s Hospital for many years until her retirement.

  She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  She was also an avid bowler through the years.

  Memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
