Born October 28, 1962 in Streator she was the daughter of Richard L. “Duke” and Lucia “Lucy” (Pizano) Bromley.

She is survived by daughters, Bethany (Coltan Davis) Brown of Byron and Lucy Zavada of Streator; sons, Robert (Janelle) Brown of Normal and Ben (Abbey) Brown of Streator; grandchildren, Stella Soltis, Oliver and Elliot Davis; Benny, Dylan and Brooklyn Brown; and Parker and Tallan Brown; sisters, Elizabeth (Steve) Broadus of Streator, Irene (Bill) Sedlock of Streator and Jessica (Mike) Pastirik of Streator; nieces and nephews, Taylor and Dan Burkhead, Olivia and Nate Pahl, Christopher and Corinne Broadus, Marlaina Sedlock, Nora Sedlock and Cenaida Sedlock; Mark Truty and Trey Pastirik; great nieces and nephews, Emmett, Forrest and Shepard Burkhead; Carson Truty, Lukas and Ana Pastirik; Reed Pahl and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Michelle Mary Bromley; and a niece, Chelsea Bromley Davis.

Mary had a true gift for connecting with people, which contributed to her 20-plus years in marketing with The Times. She later went on to display her passion for fashion through Bromley & Brown Boutique in Streator.

Mary was a strong woman of faith and led her life as a true example of Christ's love. Her trust in the Lord never wavered through her journey and she inspired so many to be brave and faithful.

Her family and friends were her entire world, and she never missed an opportunity to create a fun memory or have a good time. She was truly the life of the party. From adventures with her grandchildren to hosting fabulous parties, she will forever be a part of so many special memories.

Mary's absence in this world will be felt every single day, but the legacy and love she left behind will continue on through all who knew and loved her.

Memorials may be directed to the non-profit charity that was established in her niece Chelsea’s memory, Serving Goodness and Grace.
