Michael J. Klein

Michael J. Klein, 25, of Grand Ridge died Sunday October 11, 2009 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Visitation will be from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator. Pallbearers will be, Aaron Delaney, Adam Losey, Jeremy Estes, Jim Sullivan, Will Landrum, Jerry and John Wiseman.
Michael was born February 24, 1984 in Streator the son of Ralph and Vickie (Walter) Klein.
He is survived by his parents of Streator; a brother, Ryan (Laurie) Klein of Streator, maternal grandparents, Leslie and Genevieve Walter; paternal grandmother, Julia Klein of Streator; aunts, Carol (William) Allison of Streator, Mary (Larry) Johnston of Boone, Iowa and Victoria Walter of Manville; an uncle, Allen (Patricia) Klein of Clearwater, Fl. and one cousin, Jeffrey (Ginger) Walter of Manville.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ralph L. Klein; an aunt Pamela Klein and an uncle, Joe L. Walter.
Born and raised in the Grand Ridge area he attended Deer Park grade school and graduated from Streator High School class of 2003.
He worked as a spotter for US Foodservice since high school. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his friends working on his 4x4 pickups, fishing, hunting and just enjoying his life in the country.
