Mike was a great son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a kind person with the ability to either make you laugh or frustrate you with his practical jokes. He enjoyed golfing, the outdoors and sports, especially baseball and football cheering on the Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Chiefs. One of his favorite memories was snowboarding in Jackson Hole, WY. He was a fun guy who was always up for a good time, and he was the type of person who never met a stranger. He was always a great sport being the middle child of 5, in between four sisters, and often referred to as the “middle sister”. He would never hesitate to help a sister out and was a protector as well. He was a wonderful uncle to Evan, Noah, Caleb, Valerie, Adalynn, Abigail and Edison and wore the term “funcle” well. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Although services will be private, a celebration of life will be held at a later date this summer.
Memorials may be directed to the White Sox Charities.
