Michelle “Mitzy” Anderson, 60, of Streator passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 peacefully in her home in Streator.

  Services will be private.  Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born July 1, 1964 in Streator she was the daughter of Ronald “Greasy” and Patricia (Svetz) Elias. 

  She is survived by a daughter, Natalie (D’Earl Brown) Anderson of Toledo, Ohio; a son, Nathan (Caiti) Anderson of Pontiac; grandchildren, Natalie Taylor, Kynzie Anderson, Da’Mari Brown and Da’Vion Brown; sisters, Mary Jane (Albert) Mazzola of Oakhurst, Texas, Janice (Brian) Schultz of Streator, Cindy (Bob) Fogarty of Streator and Melanie (Sam Austin) Elias of Monroe, Michigan; and a brother, Michael (Tracie) Elias of Streator.

  She was preceded in death by her parents.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1982.

  She worked for Plymouth Tube for many years until her retirement.

  Mitzy loved reading and tending to her flower bed.  She especially loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed by her loving family.
