Milton Hoskins Obituary

Milton E. Hoskins, 80, of Streator passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Aperion Care in Spring Valley, IL.

Due to current COVID restrictions, private services will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Cremation rites have been accorded. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his son, Robert (Debi) Hoskins of Streator; grandson, Jesse Hoskins of Los Angeles, California; daughter, Connie (JC) Griffith, grandson, Jeremy Hoskins of Streator; sister, Carolyn Harback of Streator and nieces and nephews.

He worked in the glass industry for over 50 years, mainly at Thatcher Glass Manufacturing in Streator. He was a jack of all trades his entire life.

He had a distinctive laugh that was well known by his family and friends. He was very outgoing and enjoyed life to the fullest. His passion was riding his Harley, everywhere and anywhere! If he wasn’t on his Harley, you would find him in his garage fixing anything that needed fixed. His greatest joy was to spend time with family and friends. He would meet his buddies every morning for coffee and breakfast. He also enjoyed their company a few nights a week for dinner. He was a dedicated friend and father.

Memorials may be directed to the family to be dispersed to local charities.
