Nancy C. Benedict

  Nancy C. Benedict, 70, of Pontiac passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025 in Pontiac as a result a car accident.

  Private family funeral services will be held.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born September 19, 1955 in Roanoke she was the daughter of James and Amylu (Laithrop) Gioletti.

  She is survived by daughters, Lisa Fite of Pontiac and Jaclyn (Ryan) Reed of Saunemin; sons, Donovan Benedict of Glenrosa, Arizona and Paul Benedict of Streator; grandchildren, Charlotte, Ella, Faith, William, Michael, Nicholi, Julianna, Caitlyn and Leo; a sister, Dorothy Quintana of Arizona and a brother, Bradford Gioletti of Washington.

  She was preceded in death by her parent; a son, Scott and a grandson, James.

  Nancy attended Cottey College in Missouri and later served in the United States Marine Corps from 1975-1978.

  Through the years she lived in California, New York, Arizona and Pontiac.

  A loving mother and grandmother, family was the most important thing to Nancy.  She will be dearly missed by her family.
