Nancy J. McKinley

  Nancy J. McKinley, 47, of Streator passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

  Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 19th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. Monday, September 18th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator. 

  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.  Family will serve as pallbearers.

  Born April 11, 1976 in Streator she was the daughter of Bennett and Nancy (Hert) Thomas.  She married Vernon L. McKinley, Sr. on June 18, 2004.

  She is survived by her husband Vernon L. McKinley, Sr. of Streator; daughters, Airiana McKinley of Chicago and Olivia McKinley of Streator; a son, Vernon L. McKinley II of Rockford; brothers and sisters, Randy (Arsol) Hert, Sharon (Richard) Dutko, Carol Sickley, Wanda (William Evans) Fialko, Bennett Thomas Jr., Gary (Sue) Thomas, Brenda Soule, Harry (Judy) Thomas, Larry (Cheryl) Thomas, Jerry (Dawn) Thomas, James (Debbie) Thomas and Robert Thomas all of Streator; her mother in law, Annette McKinley of Joliet; her father in law, Perry Ellis of Momence; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

  She was preceded in death by her parents.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School.  She later earned her C.N.A. certificate.

  She worked for Owens Illinois Glass Manufacturing as a Sample Specialist for 18 years.

  Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
