Patricia Novotney

  Patricia A. Novotney, 80, of Streator passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at O.S.F. St. James Medical Center in Pontiac, Illinois.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 P.M. Monday, February 7, 2022 at St. Valentine’s Church in Peru.  Fr. Jeffery Small will officiate.

  Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Monday, February 7, 2022 at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator,.

  Burial will be in St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Streator.  Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew and Brandon Novotney; nephews, Steve and Mike Grossen; and Josh Miller.

  Born May 31, 1941 in Streator she was the daughter of Stephen and Evelyn (Falk) Bellis.  She married Edward R. Novotney on June 27, 1959 at St. Stephen’s Church, Streator.  He preceded her in death on January 2, 2007.

  She is survived by her sons, Edward (Laurie) Novotney of Peru and Richard (Cindy Tucker-Miller) Novotney of Streator; grandchildren; Matthew Novotney of Dekalb, Andrew Novotney of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Brandon Novotney of Peru; sisters, Junitta (Thomas) Winn of Willis, Texas and Marion (Terry) Grossen of Streator; and a special friend, Ken Renner of Streator.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and 3 grandchildren in infancy.

  She attended St. Mary’s Grade School and graduated from Streator High School.  She lived in Streator her lifetime.

  Pat worked for many years for Mr. John’s Dry cleaning.  She volunteered through the years with St. Mary’s Hospital as a Pink Lady and Streator Youth Baseball as the President of the Ladies Auxiliary.  She was also very active with St. Stephen’s Church and school for many years.
