Paulette Danley of rural Streator, Illinois, passed away at her home November 2, 2025,
surrounded by family and her loving husband.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 2-4 P.M. Sunday, December 7th at the Kangley Inn.
Paulette was born on September 11, 1948, to Ann and Walter Opie. They preceded her in
death.
She married David Danley on May 20, 1978, and they made their home amidst the trees
and beauty of the Vermilion River. When Paulette married Dave, she was embraced by the
entire Danley clan and she adored her “found family.”
She is survived by her husband, David Danley, of Streator and her daughter Naomi (Randy)
Hatzer, also of Streator, with whom she spent many cherishable and memorable moments,
always filling her with love and laughter.
Paulette lived life with beauty, grace, and simple elegance. She will be sorely missed, but
so very lovingly remembered in the hearts and smiles of her family and all who knew her.
No services are scheduled at this time. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
