Phyllis A. Girard, 91, of Lisbon, Wisconsin and formerly of Streator passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 in Lisbon, Wisconsin.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, February 15th at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.

  Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Saturday, February 15th at Solon - Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery, Streator.  Cremation rites have been accorded.

  Born July 16, 1933 in Joliet she was the daughter of George and Mabel (Mushro) Courey.  She married James Mascal on October 15, 1959.  He preceded her in death on June 20, 1962.  She later married Ronald Girard on April 7, 1969.  He preceded her in death on November 23, 1991.

  She is survived by her sons, Mark (Catherine) Mascal of Sacramento, California and Matt Mascal of Lisbon, Wisconsin; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother and sister in laws, Matthew (Beth) Mascal, Keith and Ellen Girard, Sharon Roberts and Robert Brown; many loving nieces and nephews also survive.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; sisters, Florence Nicholas, Mary Einhaus and Betty Brown; brothers, Larry, Gene and Kenneth Courey.

  She lived her lifetime in Joliet, Streator and Wisconsin areas.

  She worked as a secretary for Owens Illinois Glass for many years.  She also worked in the bookkeeping Department at Streator National Bank.

  She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator.

  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
