Richard A. McCoy, 65, of Streator passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at O.S.F. St. James Medical Center in Pontiac.

  Funeral services will be at 11:30A.M. Saturday, January 17th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until 11:30 A.M. Saturday, January 17th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Cremation rites have been accorded.

  Born December 20, 1960 in Streator, he was the son of Richard L. and Gloria J. (Schultz) McCoy.  He married Nancy L. Voytko on August 17, 1979 in Streator.

  He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. McCoy of Streator; sons, Jeremy McCoy of Streator and Justin (Jenna) McCoy of Tonica; grandchildren, Jack, Josie, Stella and Walker McCoy; his mother, Gloria J. Ritter of Streator; his step-mother, Ruth McCoy of Streator; siblings, Tim (Janet) McCoy of Streator, Darren (Jennifer) McCoy of Mahomet and Kristy (Jim Morse) McCoy of Oglesby.

  He was preceded in death by his father; twin brothers, Michael and Mark McCoy and his step-father, Donald W. Ritter.

  Born and raised in Streator he attended Streator schools.

  He worked for Vactor Manufacturing for 36 years.

  Rick was an outdoorsman and was a member of Sandy Ford Sportman’s Club.  He particularly loved dirt track racing, especially racing late model racecars.

Rick will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends.

  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
