Robert E. Erschen

  Robert E. Erschen, 67, of Streator passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 at Morris Hospital in Morris, Illinois.

  Funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. Monday, November 14th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Monday, November 14th at the funeral home.

  Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Streator.

  Born July 10, 1955 in Streator he was the son of Marvin and Donna (Schultheis) Erschen. 
  He is survived by daughters, Brittany Erschen of Streator and Jennifer Erschen of Streator; a son, Douglas (Natalie Chalkey) Erschen of Streator; grandchildren, Lincoln Erschen, Drake McDonald, Jeremy Erschen, Alex Erschen, Breanna Erschen, Jason Dawson, Anthony Weber Jr., and Leland Weber; a sister, Carol Gurgone of Cornell; brothers, Steve (Gretchen) Erschen of Pontiac, Kevin (Rosanne) Erschen of Streator and Mark (Juanna) Erschen of Streator; his former wife, Kay Crow of Streator; nieces and nephews also survive.

  He was preceded in death by his parents.

  Raised in Long Point he attended Long Point Grade School and Woodland Junior High.  He graduated from Woodland High School in the class of 1973.

  He was currently working at Exelon Corporation in LaSalle for the last 42 years in the Security Department.

  He loved his prized car and taking motorcycle rides.  He was a loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his loving family.
