Robert J. Kascak, 93, of Sellersburg, Indiana, formerly of Streator, passed away at 02:20 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Private family burial will be held at a later date in St. Stephens’ Cemetery, Streator Illinois. Cremation rites have been accorded. Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator is in charge of the arrangements.
Born March 24, 1928 in Streator, he was the son of Michael and Anna (Yuhas) Kascak. He married Catherine A. Kascak on February 20, 1960.
He is survived by a son Michael (Tracee) Kascak of Charlestown, Indiana and granddaughters Sydney and Aubrey Kascak of Charlestown, Indiana.
He attended Streator grade schools and Streator High School.
Robert worked at Owens Illinois as an Electrician/Crew Leader until his retirement.
He was a member of the former St. Anthony Church and had currently belonged to St. Michael the Archangel Parish until he relocated to the Sellersburg, Indiana area.
Robert enjoyed walleye fishing, golf, and baseball. Along with his wife, he worked the St. Anthony’s bingo for many years.
Memorials may be directed St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
