Robert B. Osland Sr.

Robert B. Osland Sr., 72, of Streator passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

There will be no services at this time. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born January 20, 1948 in Streator he was the son of Eric and Florence (Marcin) Osland. He was formerly married to Mary Lou Osland. She survives in Streator.

He is also survived by sons, Jason (Carey) Osland of Kangley, Robert Osland and Eric Osland both of Streator; grandchildren, Whitney, Sidney, Emmilee Jo and Stormy Jay Osland all of Streator; a brother, Larry (Cheryl) Osland of Streator; and a sister, Marsha Nicolette of Streator.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a grandson, Keaton Osland.

Born and raised in Streator he attended Woodland School.

He worked for Thatcher’s Glass Factory for over 20 years and later went on to work for the Streator Dependable for over 10 years until his retirement.

He was of the Catholic faith.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and racing his hotrods through the years.
