Rosalind E. Meyer

  Rosalind E. Meyer, 70, of Streator passed away Monday, July 3, 2023 at O.S.F. St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa.

  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 10th at St. Michael the Archangel Church, Streator. 

  Visitation will be from 2-4 P.M. Sunday at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.  The rosary will be recited at 4:00 P.M.

  Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.  Private burial will take place at a later date in Riverview Cemetery.

  Born August 19, 1952 in Streator she was the daughter of Lester and Marcella (Price) Phillips. She married James A. Meyer on June 19, 1982 in Streator.  He preceded her in death on November 2, 2021.

  She is survived by; a daughter, Jamie Sharisky of Streator; a son, Joshua Meyer of Glen Ellyn; and granddaughters, Faith and Lena Sharisky of Streator.

  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

  Born and raised in Streator she attended St. Mary’s Grade School and Streator High School.

  She worked through the years for the Credit Bureau, Vermillion Arcade and Market USA.

  She enjoyed shopping and visiting with family.  She will be dearly missed by her loving family.

  Memorials may be directed to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
