Roy M. Scott

Roy M. Scott, 60, of Streator passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Cremation rites have been accorded. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born January 23, 1961 in Streator he was the son of Percy and Nina (McMillan) Scott. He married Dawn Morton on October 6, 1996.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn Scott of Streator; a daughter, Heather Morton of Chasworth; sons, Joey Fornero of Colorado and William Morton of Streator; grandchildren, Jozlynn, Jordin, Caiden, Jameson, Forest, Destiny and Caidence; brothers, Raymond, Edmund, James and Percy; sisters, MaeLee, Nina, Inez and Rose; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Vera; a brother, Brant Allen; 3 nieces and 3 nephews.

Born and raised in Streator he attended Streator grade schools and Streator High School.

He worked as a pallet builder in his early years. He late worked for 17 years for Mid America Growers in Granville. He had spent the last 8 years working for McDonalds in Streator.
