Sandra Picciola Obituary

Sandra L. Picciola, 82, of Godley passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator.

Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be no services. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born April 24, 1941 she was the daughter of William and Anne (Harkins) Scruggs. She was formerly married to Russell Picciola. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by daughters, Toni Picciola of Godley and Jamie Mellin of Streator; grandchildren, Haley Kerr, Danielle Picciola, Makenzie Van Winsen, Alex Trujillo, Christian Picciola and Robert Berringer Jr.; great grandchildren, Jordan, Elaina and Avaia; and a sister, Kay Jean Gomber of Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Michael Wilkey; she was also preceded in death by her siblings.

Sandra attended Beauty School after high school and worked for many years as a hairdresser.

She was of the Catholic faith.
