Steven Mehn Jr., 42, of Streator, IL, passed away on December 3, 2023, in Hudson, FL. He was born on July 27, 1981, 

  Steven is survived by his wife, April Mehn; sons, Wyatt Mehn, Brendan Mehn, and Derek Moore; his mother, Julie Hays (Jack); his father, Steven Mehn Sr; his sister, Angie Simmons (Daniel Boyington) and his aunts, Connie (Troy) Highsmith and Theresa (Todd) Mackey.

  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lila and Ron Bellis; his paternal grandparents, Reba and Francis Mehn and his father in law, Roy Broyles. 

  Steven was born and raised in Streator Illinois  

  He attended Woodland School. He eventually moved his family to Florida, where he got started in roofing. 

  He enjoyed fishing, music, and spending time with his wife and boys. His beautiful smile and his quick witted sense of humor will be greatly missed by many.

  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kidney Foundation.

  There will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date in Hudson.
