Steven A. Sickley

Steven A. Sickley, 60, of Streator passed away Monday, April 12, 2021 at O.S.F. St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.

Private family burial will take place at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Leonore. Cremation rites will be accorded. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Born July 14, 1960 in Streator he was the son of Donald and Geraldine (Wallin) Sickley.

He is survived by sisters, Kathleen Payne of Medford, Oregon and Sandra (Gary) Reed of Manville; a brother, John Sickley of Streator; nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Born and raised in Streator he attended Streator schools and graduated from Streator High School.

He worked through the years for St. Mary’s Hospital in the Maintenance Department and later worked for Meals on Wheels until his retirement.

Steve loved hockey and going to Peoria Riverman games and watching the Chicago Blackhawks on TV. He also loved music of all kinds and attending concerts and musical festivals.
