Terry R. Bartman, 61, of Streator passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at his residence.

  Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 17th at the Church of the Open Bible.

  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 17th at the Church of the Open Bible.

  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Streator.  The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

  Born July 1, 1963 in Streator he was the son of Robert and Barbara (Mehock) Bartman.  He married Jamie Graff on September 12, 2019. 

  He is survived by his wife, Jamie Bartman of Streator; his son, Chris Doermann of Streator; daughters, Sara Scarbeary of Streator and Gillian and Taya Martin; his brother, Kevin (Karen) Bartman of Arnold, Missouri; granddaughter, Alicia Escobedo; great grandson, Kingston Washington and nephews, Nicholas and Andrew Bartman.

  He was preceded in death by his parents.

  Born and raised in Streator he attended local grade schools and graduated from Streator High School in the class of 1982.

  He worked through the years as a truck driver for Calkins, Luckey and Lenhausen Trucking; and Melvin Sales.

  He was a member of the Church of the Open Bible. 

  Terry was an outdoorsman and loved to go camping, fishing and hunting.  He belonged to Lazy Acres and Sandy Ford Sportsmen’s clubs.  He loved sports of all kinds and especially enjoyed following the Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls and Cubs. He was a big lover of music and enjoyed attending concerts.

  Memorials may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
