William Rosario

  William Rosario, 85, of Streator passed away Friday, June 26, 2026 at O.S.F. Center for Health-Streator.

  Funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. Thursday, July 2nd at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Thursday, July 2nd at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.

  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Streator.

  Born December 1, 1940 in Puerto Rico he was the son of Florencio and Saturnina (Rodriguez) Rosario.  He married Rita Lynch on March 7, 1970.

  He is survived by a daughter, Sandra (Craig) Rodrick of Streator; a son, Robert (Ana Quiroz) Rosario of Pinellas Park, Florida; grandchildren, Lila Rosario and Devin Rodrick; his former wife, Rita Rosario of Streator; a sister, Gloria (Samuel) Burgos of Chicago; several nieces and nephews also survive.

  He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, William Rosario; and brothers, Luis Quinones, David Rosario and Jorge Rosario.

  He worked for Owens Illinois Glass Company until his retirement. 

  He was of the Catholic faith. 

  He enjoyed sports and spending time with his family.
